A long long time ago, in a land far far away, I was a
teenager who also worked as an intern with the U.S. Department of Energy in Los
Alamos, New Mexico. My internship was with the Sunrise Education Project where
I focused on programming, working with the fastest supercomputers at the time,
and creating websites before most people even knew that the internet even
existed. This was when I was technologically savvy.
Over time, I lost my edge and became a regular consumer of
technology. I know how to use it but do not know how to implement new
technology like I used to. It seems like I see the successful rollout of new
technology and then implement it like others. While this is a safe way to use
technology, I am just a follower.
